Dear Passengers multiplayer and co-op

The official Steam record confirms solo play, multiplayer, co-op and online co-op.

Is Dear Passengers multiplayer?

Yes. Steam lists multiplayer, co-op and online co-op, while also listing a single-player mode. The game is designed around a crew sharing responsibility for one aircraft.

What does the crew do?

FLEXUS divides the premise into two broad work areas: someone flies the plane while other crew members keep the cabin operating. The official description confirms the following responsibilities:

  • Pilot the aircraft and respond to changing flight conditions.
  • Serve passengers inside the cabin.
  • Manage risky passengers and high-paying cargo.
  • Deal with turbulence, air pockets and loose objects.
  • Keep one problem from becoming a larger onboard emergency.

How many players can play?

Not confirmed: The current official Steam listing does not state a maximum player count in its public description. We do not turn trailer character counts into a promise.

The wording repeatedly refers to playing with friends and splitting pilot and cabin work, but that does not establish a fixed lobby size. The correct answer is to wait for a developer specification, demo, store update or launch documentation.

Does it support solo play?

Yes, Steam currently includes the single-player category. The detailed way solo play handles the cockpit and cabin is not yet explained on the store page, so control switching, AI crew behavior and difficulty scaling remain open questions.
